Nanya Develop 42nm copper DRAM

Nanya Develop 42nm copper DRAM: Micron Technology, Inc and Nanya Technology Corporation announced that they are developing DDR3 memory device 2 gigabits. Interestingly, the memory DRAM process technology using 42-nanometer copper-based.  Joker Stone

DDR3 memory technology is now commonly used in applications of high-performance computing, including computer servers, notebooks, and desktops.

For information, the geometry of the transition to smaller process is very important to maintain efficiency. The new 42nm process makes 1.35-volt power into the power that is widely used standards compared with the 1.5-volt memory the previous generation.

“With the movement towards a Micron 42nm and expertise in copper and metalisasi special cell capacitor technology makes us remain a leader in design and innovation DRAM process,” claims Robert Feurle, Vice President Marketing Nanya DRAM, in his statement, March 1, 2010.
