Here’s a song I wrote shortly after the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl for the first time. It’s performed here by Mike Agranoff, Jim King, and Andy Koenig at the Minstrel Coffeehouse in New Jersey, July 2008. They’ve updated my reference to the Patriots as payback after the New York Giants defeated the Patriots in the 2008 Super Bowl. The song is a parody of a traditional English Christmas song that I learned from a recording of Nowell Sing We Clear. Their version: I’ll sing you twelve, o Green grow the rushes, o What is your twelve, o Twelve for the twelve apostles Eleven for the eleven who went to heaven And ten for the Ten Commandments Nine for the nine bright shiners Eight for the April rainers Seven for the seven stars in the sky And six for the six proud walkers Five for the symbols at your door And four for the gospel makers Three, three, the rivals Two, two, the lily white boys Clothed all in green, o One is one and all alone And evermore shall be so
Most popular scenes 7:19 onwards. The BEST Ab Fab one liners, scenes, and out takes with Eddie (Jennifer Saunders), Patsy (Joanna Lumley), Saffie (Julia Sawalha), Gran (June Whitfield) & Bubbles (Jane Horrocks). Taken from series one and two. Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone are two immature, chain-smoking, alcoholic prosperous, but preposterous substance-abusing fashion and fad-obsessed Londoners who value fame and style over substance (unless they are controlled substances). Saffron, Edina’s daughter, provides the persistently dour voice of Monsoon and Stone’s super-ego. Edina and Saffy live in a house in Holland Park (and not the outskirts, but the rich heartland of Holland Park), with Patsy spending most of her time there as well.
